Dr. Shoaib Ugradar is an oculoplastic surgeon specializing in eyelid surgery, ptosis repair, thyroid eye disease, and complex reconstructive and revision procedures around the eyes.
BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Ugradar’s practice is centered on problems where precision is paramount — where the anatomy is delicate, the margin for error is small, and both function and appearance must be restored with equal care.
A significant portion of his practice is devoted to patients referred by other surgeons for difficult cases: prior eyelid surgery, unsatisfactory outcomes, postoperative complications, thyroid eye disease, and anatomy that requires a more specialized level of expertise.
His background reflects training across some of the world’s most respected ophthalmic and oculoplastic institutions — from the University of London and Moorfields Eye Hospital to a research fellowship at UCLA and an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgery fellowship in Beverly Hills. Before entering private practice, he served for five years as an Associate Professor at UCLA.
